The community outreach division holds weekly events that

members can participate in to earn membership points as well as volunteer experience.

Some of the volunteering opportunities have limited spaces, and volunteers are normally accepted on a first come, first serve basis.  A waiting list is sometimes available for certain events that are in high demand.  For these events, an email will be sent a few days prior, and you must reply to sign up. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact the directors of community outreach.

CHARITY

How we can all make a difference:

Each semester PAMSA is proud to raise funds for a variety of charities. In the past, we have chosen to donate to charities such as Villa la Paz, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America, among others. Our Directors of Charity organize numerous events throughout the year, with all proceeds going to charity.

We rely heavily on the participation and support of our members, because without you, our organization would not be able to give back. We look forward to giving even more back this year and seeing you all at our events!

THIS YEAR'S CHARITIES:

Shriner's Hospital for Children

  • Shriners Hospitals for Children has a mission to:

  • Provide the highest quality care to children with neuromusculoskeletal conditions, burn injuries and other special healthcare needs within a compassionate, family-centered and collaborative care environment.

  • Provide for the education of physicians and other healthcare professionals.

  • Conduct research to discover new knowledge that improves the quality of care and quality of life of children and families.

  • This mission is carried out without regard to race, color, creed, sex or sect, disability, national origin, or ability of a patient or family to pay.
